However, the most popular one is where a man named James Wilson, who was initially from Springfield, Massachusetts, was so homesick that he offered free whiskey to anyone who would support naming the city after his hometown. And, if an adventure of animal discovery is what you desire, take advantage of the Dickerson Park Zoo, which features more than 500 animals representing 160 different species. Whereas culture is concerned, there are many theatres in the area for fine arts and entertainment.
