After 2020 effectively shut down most of the 4th of July celebrations, this year has promised to bring back fireworks that are bigger and better. That is a very good thing for the public that has been lockdowns, social isolation and cut off from friends and loved ones. If fireworks arenโt enough to tickle you pink, there are also multiple events in the St. Louis area where you can gather to eat, drink and watch the displays. Below are some of the highlights.
Fair St. Louis

Fair St. Louis is going to be putting on its fireworks show this year. It will host its โlargest fireworks showโ under the Arch. There aren’t any activities, such as concerts or vendors, but the organization hopes to resume that in 2022.
St. Charles Riverfest

St. Charles Riverfest returns this year for its free three-day festival. There is going to be live music, as well as food trucks and itโs also a carnival. In fact, craft vendors will also be in attendance if you want to spend a little more cash.
Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex Fourth of July Celebration

- Conditions: St. Louis County summer guidelines have been updated and there are no longer COVID-19 restrictions, such as the previous stated Parking Reservations. Social distancing is still, however, recommended.
In fact, The Chesterfield Valley Athletic Complex will be hosting a celebration of its own. The event will begin with a party that has live music from band that is called Groovethang. There will also be food trucks and a kidโs zone. The fireworks display begin at 9 p.m. We will also have Balloon Artists, Pony Rides and Backyard Games for ALL to enjoy! In addition, there will be lawn chairs, blankets, and outside food and beverages will be allowed. However, there will be no glass or tobacco products.
